LuminAuz® is an Australian companyfounded by Nick Hart in Canberra ACT. Nick Hart's original vision was to take the technology of electroluminescence and create an application process to be able to apply the LuminAuz® layered system of paints to any 3 dimensional surface.

The inventer of the LuminAuz® EL Application system Nick Hart says “There’s more to it than just a paint job. Your painting a closed encapsulated circuit, an LEC (Light Emitting Capacitor) and the conductivity, resistance, insulator, properties in the layers must be perfect.  A complete understanding and absolute precision is required to achieve outstanding results. Many other factors come into play with the painting and tuning of the paint” 

LuminAuz® are conducting continual R&D to constantly improve their techniques and products. Since startup LuminAuz® has conducted extensive research & development, and generated interest by releasing multiple prototypes.
LuminAuz® currently holds two patents.

Based on extensive R & D  Luminauz UV is now developing a cutting edge ultraviolet disinfectant coating application that would prevent the spread of pathogens on all surfaces, using its LuminAuz® UV application sytem. (Patent Pending)
